Hot water can take a minute or two to reach the bathroom. Our shower is an accessible, open shower. Check that the shower head points into the shower area before turning it on, and stay nearby while the water warms. Please never leave the shower running unattended, as the bathroom floor can become quite wet.

2. Add oil or liquid, then immediately reduce the heat to moderate–low.
3. When adding salt to cooking water, wait until the water is boiling.

We’re pleased to welcome your four-legged travelling companions, with a maximum of two dogs per stay.
Please include your dogs in your booking and let us know they’re coming, so we can prepare and inform our cleaner.
To keep Bobby comfortable for everyone:
Keep dogs off all furniture, including beds and sofas.
Do not leave dogs alone inside the property or in the courtyard when you go out.
Clean up any pet mess inside and outside.
Heading out without your dogs? Please arrange pet sitting. You can explore local options through Mad Paws.

The four bins are out the front of the unit, near the driveway entrance. Please follow the magnetic guide on the fridge to sort your waste into the correct bin. Your help with Ballarat’s four-bin system is greatly appreciated.
Glass bottles and jars go in the purple-lidded glass recycling bin, following the fridge guide. Please do not put them in general waste.

Please check out by 10 am. Our housekeeper takes care of the main cleaning. Before you head off, please:
· Empty the indoor bins, sorting waste into the correct outdoor bins near the driveway entrance.
· Load used dishwasher-safe dishes, cutlery and cookware, and start the dishwasher on its normal cycle. Our housekeeper will unpack it.
· Put other clean dishes away where you found them.
· Wipe the cooktop and clean up any oven spills.
· Leave used towels in the bathroom, with unused towels rolled as you found them.
· Pull back the sheets and doona on used beds. There’s no need to remake beds or wash linen—our linen is professionally cleaned.
· Return furniture and other items, including the TV remote, to their original places.
· Clean up after your pet, inside and outside.
· Turn off lights, heating, cooling and appliances that you’ve used. Leave the fridge running and the dishwasher running its checkout cycle.
· Close and lock all doors and windows.
Please let us know about any breakages or maintenance issues. Thank you for looking after Bobby!
